| DataScan Holdings Opens New Headquarters in Forsyth County, Georgia |
$10,000 Donation to be Presented to Forsyth Academy at January 31st Grand Opening
Forsyth County, Ga. (January 29, 2008) - Automotive finance software and services company, DataScan Holdings, has opened its new, state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in Forsyth County, Georgia. During a grand opening ceremony for associates and guests on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11 a.m., Georgia State Rep. Tom Knox will deliver remarks, along with officials from DataScan Holdings and parent company JM Family Enterprises, Inc. (JM Family). An $11.1 billion diversified automotive corporation, JM Family was recently ranked for the 10th consecutive year on FORTUNE's "100 Best Companies to Work For" list. A $10,000 charitable gift will also be presented to Forsyth Academy, a local high school for at-risk youth. Tours of the new facility, located at 5925 Cabot Drive, and private reception will follow.

At the ceremony, JM Family President and CEO Colin Brown will present a $10,000 charitable gift to Forsyth Academy. Over the past two years, DataScan Holdings and JM Family have made donations to over 30 nonprofits in the area, including Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society.

Payroll for the approximately 180 associates totals nearly $17 million annually. Renovation on the 86,000 square-foot facility was completed in approximately seven months at a cost of $18 million. Several local companies were involved in the design and construction including Warner Summers Architecture &Interior Design; Cork - Howard Construction; and Baudry, Buadry &Associates (consultants). Facility features include:
- A biometrics security system with a three-factor authentication system - ID badge, fingerprint and pin code
- Around-the-clock network operations center
- Two state-of-the-art 3,000-square-foot data centers
While the facility is the digital "nerve-center" for all DataScan Holdings operations, it also serves as JM Family Enterprises' primary disaster data-recovery center and back-up facility for business continuity efforts. If a crisis occurs at another JM Family location, workspace is available for 150 associates in order to keep the business running.
